Nainital: Kainchi Dham, a popular temple located in Nainital, has been causing long traffic snarls due to the large number of devotees who visit the shrine dedicated to Neem Karoli Baba. This issue has not only impacted the traffic movement of Nainital but also the Kumaon region.
To tackle this issue, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, announced the construction of a by-pass near Kainchi Dham. This by-pass will ensure that the traffic movement of Kumaon region is not impacted by the large number of devotees visiting the temple. The CM made this announcement during his speech in Nainital on Monday.
Famous personalities like Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Virat Kohli, and his wife Anushka Sharma are among the list of prominent personalities who have visited the temple in the past.
"The traffic holdover is an issue which affects movement of vehicles in the Kumaon region and we have decided to solve it. We will come up with a bypass from Bhowali sanatorium to Raati Ghat. This will solve the problem and provide respite to commuters," the CM said.
Apart from this, the CM also announced the replacement of the sewer lines in Nainital, which are more than 40 to 50 years old. He also announced the construction of a two-lane road from Talla Ramgarh to Kwarav Marg and the construction of roads in different parts of Nainital district.
The construction of the bypass and other road projects will not only ensure smooth traffic movement but also help in the overall development of the region. With the CM's announcement, the people of Kumaon region can hope for better traffic management and infrastructure development in the near future.
