Real estate giant DLF has unveiled an exciting new venture in the booming Gurugram real estate market. The company has recently launched 92 luxury independent floors in prime locations throughout Gurugram, with expectations of generating an impressive revenue of nearly Rs 400 crore from their sales. This move reflects DLF's ongoing commitment to providing high-quality housing options to discerning buyers.

According to Aakash Ohri, the Joint Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of DLF, these luxury independent floors are strategically located on corner plots and come with a price tag ranging from Rs 4 to Rs 5 crore. They are available in sizes ranging from 2400 to 3100 sq ft, catering to various preferences and needs of potential buyers.

Mr. Ohri proudly stated, "We have done close to almost Rs 8000 crore in the independent floors segment since 2020." This underlines DLF's strong position in the real estate market and its ability to meet the evolving demands of homebuyers.

DLF's success extends beyond Gurugram, as Mr. Ohri revealed, "We have launched and sold independent floors worth close to Rs 7,650 crore in Gurugram and Chandigarh tri-city (Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula)." This demonstrates the company's ability to thrive in multiple markets and its commitment to delivering quality housing solutions.

Looking ahead, DLF has ambitious plans for the future. Mr. Ohri announced, "Following this launch, we will be launching two high-rise projects in Gurugram in Q3 and Q4." This indicates the company's determination to continue meeting the diverse housing needs of the region.

In terms of the demographics of buyers, DLF has observed a fascinating trend. The buyers of these luxury independent floors typically fall in the age group of 35 to 45 years. They are individuals who either have children attending schools in Gurugram or work in the city. However, the appeal of independent floors extends to a broader demographic, including those in the age group of 50 to 60 years. Some families opt to purchase these floors in Gurugram after selling their family properties in Delhi, indicating the enduring allure of these luxurious homes.

DLF's recent financial performance has been robust. During the 2022-23 financial year, the company achieved sales bookings of Rs 15,058 crore, marking a significant increase from Rs 7,273 crore in the previous year. As it looks to the future, DLF has set a target of Rs 13,000 crore in sales bookings for the 2023-24 financial year.
