Dehradun, June 2 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday said that the state will host a Global Investors' Summit in November-December 2023.
Dhami, who chaired a meeting to review the preparations for the summit, said that the event would be an opportunity to attract investment in the state and generate employment.
"Our aim is to make Uttarakhand one of the top states by 2025 and the summit will play a crucial role in this direction," Dhami said.
He said that the state has a lot to offer investors, including a skilled workforce, a favorable business environment, and a strategic location.

The summit will be held in two phases. The first phase will be held at the international level, while the second phase will be held at the national level.
In the first phase, roadshows will be organized in countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. In the second phase, roadshows will be organized in major cities across India.
Apart from roadshows, a mini conclave will also be organized in Mussoorie and Ramnagar. The conclave will focus on specific sectors, such as tourism, industry, IT, and health.
Dhami said that the summit would be a major boost for the state's economy. He urged all stakeholders to work together to make the event a success.

The summit is expected to attract over 1,000 delegates, including top investors, CEOs, and government officials from across the world.
